Aire Chicago: Underground Spa Experience

Chicago is known for many things, like Millennium Park where you can see the infamous reflective “Bean”, the downtown river walk, and deep-dish pizza. But, Chicago can now add the ancient baths of AIRE to their list of experiences.

AIRE is a spa experience like no other that combines ancient Roman, Greek, and Ottoman bath house aspects to create a soothing environment that makes you forget about the city outside. With aromas activated by heated stone, intimate dim lighting, and soothing sounds, you are welcomed into this underground oasis.

Bath House Environment

You may forget where you are once you enter the AIRE bath house. The Chicago AIRE Spa is a wellness space created within a historic building that includes hot, warm, and cold plunges. There’s dim lighting created by candles that surround the areas of the spa while soothing meditative music plays throughout. The original stone within the building adds to the ancient aesthetic making every piece of the rooms an intentional space.

Therapeutic Activities

During my 2-hour experience at AIRE Chicago, I was able to take on an intimate experience for two starting with an exfoliating shower, soothing hydro massage, and warm soak. Everyone has the option to add on to their experience with massages such as the: Ancient Argan Massage, The Athlete Ritual, and the Wine Bath Experience, just to name a few of the many options. Try AIRE by yourself or in a small group and enjoy the environment created to distress, reconnect, and rekindle.
