Ever since I started using WTHN Ear Seeds, I have been hooked on the idea that points on the ear could alter your body and emotions. So, here is deeper insight on what ear seeding is, how it works, and why I love it!
As mentioned in my previous post, ear seeding is an ancient practice developed in China. Vaccaria seeds, from the native floral plant, were applied to activate pressure points on the ear that correlate to different parts, or enhancements, of the body.
Ear Seeding can be seen as a form of acupuncture. Acupuncture is the pricking of the skin to help mental or physical pain, while ear seeding achieves this through the application of pressure to specific points on the ear. Both are alternative medicine practices that use the body as a map for healing.

I am always intrigued by holistic remedies, but I take time to reflect and analyze on how my body has reacted to the alternative medicine. Now, I use Ear Seeds mainly to focus, and to relieve stress and anxiety because I tend to feel overwhelmed when planning, or find it hard to keep my attention on one task when I know I have many others.
Once applied, I periodically activate the seed by adding the desired pressure to the area where the seed was placed. When I tell you I feel an immediate change in my mental state, I truly mean instant.
