This month, during Aries season, I was honored to be a part of the Female Maker Market Panel: Businesses on the Rise where I spoke about being a small business owner, the power of mantras, and everything Mantra Co. Here are some insights I’ve gathered from my panelist and pop-up shop experience that may help you on your business journey.
It’s time for you to talk about it. People won’t know unless you tell them, so even if you are on an event panel or on IG Live or even TikTok, you should take some time to speak on your new venture and show others where your passion lies.
Embrace the energy you surround yourself with. If you have found yourself in the space you’ve desired, enjoy it! Truly let the energy around you guide you to where and who you want to be.
If you are open and able to do so, I highly recommend attending an event, virtual or in-person, to put the face to the name, brand, or idea. This physical connection, even if made virtually, leaves a mark on others that IG posts and email blasts just can’t do.
We all have our own personal level of comfort, so I say “surpass that!” Even if that means you go from replying to comments to DM-ing people, or if that means going from replying to emails to talking on a stage, challenge yourself by trying something new and putting yourself out there. I truly believe you will be surprised by the outcome and your capabilities.
Maybe it was the Aries energy and drive for what they desire or maybe it was my will to get out of my comfort zone, either way I welcome all small shop owners to take that leap and truly see what you are capable of.
Get to know some amazing, female entrepreneurs that are acting on their dreams and stepping out of their comfort zones for the betterment of their brand and themselves.
