A mantra is a positive affirmation that you recite to yourself for the purpose of motivation or encouragement. It’s a statement or slogan to transform thoughts into reality.
An example being, “I accept what is, let go of what was, and have faith in what will be.”
It can be used to help you achieve a goal, change your mindset, and ultimately to guide you in the way you want to live your life.
Your mantra can be ever changing, just like yourself as you grow throughout your life. You can have daily mantras, monthly mantras, and/or a personal mantra that you connect deeply with enough for it to remain your mantra for an extended period of time.
What can a mantra do?
1. It stimulates positive thinking to rid yourself of limiting beliefs. When you repeat your mantra to yourself you’re reprogramming your thinking patterns and enhancing your perspective to overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts.
2. You’ll be more focused on your goal, which serves to encourage and motivate you.
3. You’ll feel empowered and confident declaring your mantra in the present tense as if it’s already true.
4. It uses the law of attraction to embed these statements into our subconscious minds and speak our ideal futures into existence.
